How to crop your chant pieces to make jpgs for a friend making a booklet with a conventional Microsoft word processor. It turns out to be a good thing to do, as a pesky typo was picked up in the process. Thank you!

If its a whole lot of pages, put each piece on a new page like this: Mass9

Then, using Ghost Script and Image Magick:

gs -r300 -sDEVICE=jpeg -sOutputFile=Mass9%d.jpg music/MassBooklets/Mass9.pdf
for i in Mass*.jpg; do convert $i -trim -bordercolor white -border 10x10 trimmed$i; done

Or if it’s just the one piece like Sub Tuum above:

gs -r300 -sDEVICE=jpeg -sOutputFile=thing.jpg music/MassBooklets/test.pdf
convert thing.jpg -trim -bordercolor white -border 10x10 subtuum.jpg

They sing this antiphon after Mass at Maternal Heart of Mary Church, Lewisham. It’s not quite the same as the one in the Liber, but an older one from the Benedictine books.
